A while ago as I was playing Pokemon Go I noticed that there were some new items released in the game; one of them being this cute Drifloon beanie!

As soon as I saw it I knew I had to make it. I got the yarn for it the next day and got to work! this Drifloon crochet beanie uses my basic hdc beanie as the base, and then the other pieces are crafted and stitched on. The only piece I didn’t write the pattern for is the little heart shaped pieces that hang down. The pattern for those is by Michelle of The Painted Hinge.

please consider purchasing the ad-free PDF file in my store here or my ribblr or Ravelry store! It keeps the cost of the PDFs down and allows me to create more for you! 🙂

Notes

~Ch 1 at the beginning of each round does not count as a st.
~Join at the end of each round with a sl st to the top of the first st.
~Gauge: 12 hdc x 11 rows in a 4” square with a J hook. It’s not hugely important what the size of the other parts of the hat are, but for reference the mouth I made with my F hook came out to be about 3 ½” square when finished.
