This basic HDC beanie pattern is a great starter pattern if you are learning how to crochet! I use this pattern more than any other one (other than the Painted Canyon Cardigan by HeartHookHome). It’s the base for a lot of my more complex beanie patterns, like my Totoro beanie and my Drifloon beanie. It is worked from the top down and just uses the half double crochet stitch and then the single crochet stitch for the border. Easy peasy!
You can find the printable, ad-free PDF version of this pattern in my store, or on Ravelry or Ribblr!
